Oops!

O hai!

Man, this place is mental. Good mental, that is.

Knitters, weavers, spinners crocheters, young folks, old more mature folks, big folks, little folks. Haven't seen any aliens or gorillas yet, but it's only a matter of time.

I'm having a hoot, although I'm becoming distressingly aware of exactly how hard concrete is.

If you're here at Stitches and haven't come by yet, please pop over to Booth 1242 and say "hey". I'll be the small demented rabbit standing at the front of the booth practicing my new obsession -- making cord on a Lucet.

No, srsly. It's the most fun I've had with my clothes on in weeks.

Comments:
oooOOOOOoooOOO! I have to agree with the Lucet! Now I must go find mine and make more cord!!

Oh, I SO wish I were there! In no small part because I have no idea what a Lucet is, and would love to see a rabbitch operating one.

I was there on Friday morning, bought some yarn even, but you were not around.
I'm going to try to make it to the Market again tomorrow, I'll stop by if I'm there!

she's also the one muttering to herself...

she's also the one muttering to herself...don't get too close!

Oh, MAN! I would SO be there if I could {cue quiet-but-elegant sobbing} but in the meantime - LUCET?? SRSLY??? Disclaimer: I have one and have probably made a gazillion miles of cord - but allow me to mention: in 1723 when manufactured cord was produced in France (don't write back; I made up that year) North America was ablaze with bonfires of women half-crazed with joy dancing nekkid around piles of flaming lucets shouting "WE CAN BUY IT CHEAP!!"

Was delightful to stop by and see the booth and then realize it was you-from-your-blog, and meet you that Saturday!

I use my good ol' tuning fork for a lucet, works a treat.

Um did you at least get back home safely?

*tap tap tap* hello? is this thing on? is anybody out there?

but rly, did you get home safely? are you in your new place now? are you ok? enquiring minds want to know!

ellanie
(if this shows up twice, sorry--comment box acting funny)
