Tag, I'm It!

The Bunni has tagged me for a meme, and as we all know, if you thwart a Bunni all you get at easter are things that look like raisins but really aren't and I wouldn't eat those if I were you.

So, in the interest of not ending up with a mouth full of poop:

“THE RULES:Each player of this game starts with the ‘6 weird things about you.’ People who get tagged need to write a blog of their own 6 weird things as well as state this rule clearly. In the end, you need to choose 6 people to be tagged and list their names. Don’t forget to leave a comment that says ‘you are tagged’ in their comments and tell them to read your blog.”

1. I didn't learn to drive until I was 33.
2. I am a packrat and have trouble throwing things out even if I don't like them.
3. I am terrified of bees, to the point of hysteria.
4. I am also terrified of fire, but hate living in a house without a fireplace and, when I am fortunate enogh to have one, light fires almost constantly. (In the fireplace, sillies.)
5. I agreed to marry a man I met on the internet before I met him and who I had only seen one bad fuzzy picture of (we're still married).
6. I have crippling performance anxiety and despite this used to do standup comedy.

There. Weird enough?

Big Alice

Don't hate me, guys. This is all for the sake of the Bunni (for whom I also entered a trivia contest over at Grommie's place and won a fabulous box of really nasty candy and a delicious jar of Blackberry Mango jam and was rude enough not to even link to her).

weird things .... how is it that i got tagged for this meme?
hahaha. i am convinced there is something genetic about knitting, because all knitters seem to have strange things in common. like how most agoraphobics have dry skin and dizziness problems. anyway, i love rabbits, am terrified of bees, and have a severe problem of trying to marry people from the internet. it's so weird!
We have so much in common! I am terrified of bees to the point of hysteria, too! Also, my dad is a pilot who is afraid of heights. It's like we're practically related!
Oh tell us more about agreeing to marry your man on the internets before you'd actually met him. I mean, I know you know when it's the one, but what if... And how many pictures had he seen of you? And how long after you actually met did you... you don't have to answer but I just had to ask :)

I'm still laughing over Gizoogle, btw.
You didn't learn to drive until you were 33? Hunh. Maybe your van is trying to take advantage of you.
So #2 is a weird thing?
Thank you thank you thank you for not tagging us. There is nothing weird about us. NOTHING. We're totally normal, always were, always will be. whew. That's settled then!
How discriminating is your hymenopteraphobia? Does any brown-or-black and yellow-or-gold flying thing get you, or just actual bees? Or are you really afraid of wasps, and bees just have the misfortune to look too much like them?

I am rather fond of actual bees, and have let honeybees lick honey off my fingers (they have adorable tiny tongues, like miniscule paintbrushes-- really!). So *that* the Josh's genetic theory about knitters above. But I'm none to keen on wasps, yellow jackets, and especially [shudder] hornets.
1. I am NOT like most women - I HATE shopping, shoes, fashion, furs, jewelry, makeup.

2. I am convinced I will never find my soulmate, my true love.

3. I sleep with a small teddy bear at night.

4. My favorite holiday is Labor Day (I was born on Labor Day; my mother labored).

5. Many of my friends tell me I should be a stand-up comic; problem is, I have stage fright.

6. I have a fear of both heights and water.

Confession is good for the soul.
Thank you, Dear Bunn.

I tried to get in here sooner but of course blogger was being a bugger.
Had you at least talked on the phone to him? Because what if he had a whiney, nasaly voice that you would have to listen to the rest of your life?
