My Cheatin' Heart

There is a pile of dishes seventeen feet high in my kitchen.

This is minutes away from my front door:

There are 800 loads of laundry to be done.

The woods are minutes away from my front door:

There is gas in the van, the sun is shining and the cutest kid in the world wants to go exploring.

A prize to the first person who guesses how many loads of laundry and how many dishes got done ...

Ooh, oooh! I guess ZERO loads of laundry and ZERO dishes! At least, that's what I would do :-)
Zero. So what's the prize? (More pictures, I hope, and not the undone dishes and laundry.)
I see a woman who know's what's important.
Ha! Nobody got it right, yet.

I think I'll give the prize to me. Or maybe I already got it -- an afternoon in the woods with my kid.

(p.s. no dishes, one load of laundry)
i was gonna say that! do i get the prize?
I got here late. No prize. I have one brain cell left from hosting a party for eight six to seven year olds. If I were in your shoes, I'd have done nothing but take cute kid everywhere. As it is now, I'm coping with my prizeless status with a glass of whiiiiine...

Can you make some more of that beyooootiful purple stuff in roving form? huh? huh? huh? pleeeeeease? I'm not supposed to like purple, me being the mom of a little kid and all, but yours looked positively blueish. Gorgeous. Blueish, I do.

Glad you took the right road, darlin'...
hope you had a wonderful time with the kiddo! definitely has been perfect weather for exploring.
all the dishes and no laundry
DANG. Too late. Story of my life. HEY. My sky is blue! Count for anything.
No. I didn't think so.
Love your brook. LOVE.
Well obviously you did them all. As you are a great woman who can do it all.Yeah well, it was worth a shot.
