She's OK!


Couldn't think of a clever title for this post.

My friend was already in Manchester by the time they started blowing up London. She's home, safe and sound.

Now I can get back to my regularly scheduled worrying: wedding, deployment, driving in torrential downpours, inventory taking-- the usual stuff.

glad to hear she's alright. it's frightening not to know how someone is in a situation like that. i think of all the people who worried and waited after the tsunami, and the spanish trains, and the world trade center, and i hope that they got the news they wanted, and if they didn't, the peace they probably need now.
