Filatura di Finito
I finished the scarf, fortuitously in time for her birthday (a first for me!) It's utterly gorgeous, but as you can see my belief that it was totally random is untrue. It seems to have actually striped at one end.
Behold the up-close yummy softness.
I started this scarf not thinking that I liked the yarn. I am now in love.
Sorta like a lot of my life. *g*

I hate to be the one to tell you this, but once you start finishing things on time it becomes a necessity of life. Stop now while you (still?) have the chance. Don't say I didn't warn you.
Oh don't worry, it's not going to become a habit. I'm too lazy, too scattered and too drunk for that to happen. She just really needed this scarf, and I really needed some knitting therapy.
It really *is* lovely. I can almost feel the softnes, and the colors are just wonderful.
Lucky, lucky friend!

She grabbed it, wrapped herself up like a present and started saying to everyone "look what I got". It was truly appreciated and I have had a hard week, so it was therapy going in two directions; the best of both worlds.
