When Life Hands You Lemons, Make ...

... a fuss.

I mean, lemons? WTF?

I'm cranky beyond belief today. I'm not going to make this into "Rabbitch's blog in which she constantly complains about her spouse and occasionally knits a dishcloth" but let me tell you, today is not the day upon which I am beaming on him with pleasure.

They say the path of true love never runs smoothly and I'm sorry for those folks, but I'm here to tell you that the path of relative indifference is a little lumpy also, and I'd sort of like to get off.

No, not that sort of "get off", you perverts (although come to think of it that might help).

My 900 closest friends with whom I shared this information (well, ok, three) are well aware of the nature of the latest transgressions and of why I'm not posting about it. Suffice it to say that I've decided I need quite a lot of wool to make up for this.

4 lbs of white merino, to spin. An equal amount of brown. And then a niddy-noddy and the pattern for Eris and the wool for same.

Oh yes, and then a divorce.

Let's hope for something at least marginally knitterly tomorrow, shall we?

Comments:
Hugs! Hope the new fiber helps a little.

I'm sorry things are sucking donkeyballs.

If you send me your mailing address, I'll pass in on to the fiber fairy...maybe she'll bring you some wool-as-therapy. :)

???
Wait. I thought that WAS your theme! Damn, now I'm all disappointed.

Oh, Rabbitch, love and sympathy. And -- hang in there.

Jean

I empathize, as you know. One night when you're not working we should get drunk on our respective sides of the country and I'll call you and we can engage in cross-country long distance spouse bashing. Ok so it's not 4 lbs of merino, but since I don't really spin (yet), it works for me...

Well, you did mention fiber, so there you go. Works for me. Go kick some spousal ass.

I'm thinkingcthat if we pooled our resources, we could perhaps afford a hit.

Just sayin'

since I just started reading ya, I don't know the history here, but it does seem that your hubby is not acting up to snuff right now. that's for damn sure. I am wishing you greater peace, whichever that way lays.

What could he have possibly done to deserve all that passive-aggressive knitting wrath???

Oh, well--just remember, "Looking good while knitting is the best revenge..."

Wishing you peace and tranquility....however that would best be found....whether in a stash of merino or a divorce court, may it come quickly. You deserve to be happy.

Dude, you blog right on about whatever the blue f*ck you want. That's what I do, and that's probably why I don't have any readers :)

If you get a divorce, please come down and visit me. I am apparently the crashing pad for recently broked-up ladies. :)

Oh, and I have something SUPER EXCITING to tell you, but I can't tell you here because someone else would see and I don't want that. Email me :) Please and thank you.

And no, I did not kill anyone in Vegas just to watch them die. That's not exciting.
